Operation mind crime told a story of us living through all the scandals and corruption of the 80s and was absolutely top notch from top to bottom. Empire was a good follow up which only happens to a handful of bands Geoff tate was the controversial voice of queensryche.

It was the best VH album to the best of my knowledge. It's the only one where I listened everyday for years, from song one to the last.

John Paul Jones was engineering and producing the sessions Page did early on while learning his craft. With all deserved respect to Page, I think JPJ played a bigger role than he usually gets credit for regarding his recording knowledge, skills as an arranger, his multi-instrumental talents... it's a unique blend of genius and humility.
